Antigen
The antigen used for immunization is one of the most critical factors for
successful antibody production. Charles River offers an all-inclusive service
regarding antigen production to ensure that clients have the best possible
material go forwarding in the antibody production process.
- Hapten design, synthesis, and chemical derivate generation of low molecular
molecules for conjugation to carrier proteins
- Peptide synthesis (standard: 70–95% purity, 5–10 mg each)- HPLC
purification of peptide, MS analysis, and documentation (acetylation and
amidization are free of charge)
- Peptide modifications and special synthesis- phosphorylization,
cyclization, biotinylation, tracer amino acids, and nonproteinogenic amino
acid
- Conjugation of peptides to carrier proteins- conjugation to
immunogenic carrier proteins (e.g., KLH, THY, BSA, ovalbumin, and others)
and removal of unconjugated peptide
